Supply Chain Officer

Tatua is looking for a Supply Chain Officer to join our dynamic team and help drive excellence across our supply chain operations.

 

As a Supply Chain Officer, you’ll play a key role in:

  • Supporting and completing Planning and Procurement activities
  • Managing PPE and chemical procurement, including bulk ordering
  • Complete vendor and material management activities such as vendor creation, vendor forecasts, inventory management and purchase order management
  • Assist in sourcing new ingredients for product development
  • Providing back up to production planning after extensive training
  • Enhancing systems and procedures to deliver cost and efficiency gains.

 

You’ll work closely with internal teams and external suppliers, and report through to the Supply Chain Manager.

 

What You’ll Bring:

  • A tertiary qualification in a commercial field, with experience in supply chain, procurement, planning, or several years’ experience in a commercial role with stakeholder engagement
  • A self-starter, willing to take on and assume ownership for tasks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • High integrity and attention to detail.

 

It is essential that you have the proven ability to work within a team environment and can form strong working relationships with team-mates.
