Process Operator - Cream Products
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Process Operator to join our Cream Products Plant in a permanent, full-time role.
As a Process Operator, you'll play a key role in ensuring our production processes run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. Working as part of a close-knit team, you'll be responsible for operating and monitoring plant equipment, maintaining product quality standards, and contributing to a safe and productive work environment.
This is a hands-on position that offers variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to be part of a business committed to producing high-quality dairy products.
This role works on a rotating 4-on, 4-off shift pattern, with 12-hour shifts: two days (5am – 5pm), two nights (5pm – 5am), followed by four days off.
Responsibilities include:
- Operate packing and process equipment in an efficient, safe and hygienic manner
- Adherence to work instructions, procedures and specifications as documented in the appropriate manuals
- Maintain high standards in the plant and associated workstations
- Ensure final product quality standards are maintained.
The successful candidate will need the following attributes:
- Positive attitude, ability to perform under pressure & make a positive contribution within a team
- Proven problem-solving skills
- Physically fit – Able to lift up to 20kg
- Attention to detail
- Excellent organisational and record keeping skills
- Mechanical/practical skills and perspective
- Computer skills
Ideal candidates will have some previous experience operating a Food/Dairy production plant, however this is not a minimum requirement.
