People & Capability Advisor - 12 Month Fixed Term

Join a People & Capability team during a period of meaningful change, legislative preparation, and organisational improvement.
This opportunity offers broad exposure across employee relations, industrial relations, and P&C projects, making it ideal for someone looking to build depth and accelerate their HR career in a supportive, hands-on environment. You’ll work closely with leaders across the business, balancing advisory, coordination, and continuous improvement work with the opportunity to see the real impact of what you do.
This is a 12-month fixed-term role, with an anticipated start date in September 2026.

What You’ll Be Doing
In this varied role, you will:
- Partner with leaders to support employee relations matters, ensuring fair, consistent, and practical outcomes
- Coordinate ER processes including documentation, meetings, and case preparation
- Develop and enhance People Hub resources, enabling self-service for leaders and employees
- Support key people processes such as performance, engagement, and talent cycles
- Assist with union bargaining preparation and coordination, gaining exposure to industrial relations
- Maintain accurate employee records and support audit and compliance activities
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing systems, processes, and employee experience
- Provide support across recruitment and onboarding when required.
What You’ll Bring
You’ll be someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership, and builds strong relationships across the business.
- Have experience in HR / People & Capability or similar
- Solid understanding of employee relations processes and HR operations
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Confidence engaging with stakeholders and building trust
- Ability to manage competing priorities and stay proactive
- Experience with HRIS and/or payroll systems.
