About the Role

We are seeking applications for a permanent, full-time position within the Nutritionals Packing Team, offering a guaranteed minimum of 42 hours per week. The site operates three dryers producing a diverse range of products, which are packed across five dedicated packing lines. These packing lines are highly technical and require a strong focus on quality, safety, and operational excellence.

Key Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities

• Consistently pack products in accordance with required quality, safety, and specification standards
• Set up and operate a single packing or palletising line (i.e. wrapping, palletising, bar coding, and product movement) to achieve a wide range of packing specifications
• Effectively clean, change-over and shut down all packing operations within work area
• Complete appropriate documentation and planning of workload
• Uphold exemplary standards of personal hygiene and ensure plant hygiene requirements are met
• Strive to achieve and sustain the highest possible product yield through efficient and careful work practices.

Experience and Qualifications

• Experience in running Pneumatic machinery
• Operating Experience

Desired Attributes, Experience and Qualifications

The following are desirable but not essential:

• Experience in factory, production, packing or warehouse environments
• Involvement in trouble shooting and commissioning any new or used plant
• Mechanical aptitude or experience working with pneumatic machinery

Job Details

• Job Title: Packing Operator
• Hourly Pay Rate: $40.3193 + shift allowance
• Role Type: Permanent
• Estimated Actual Earnings:  $97,900.00 (includes shift allowance)
• Location: Onsite at Tatua - 3434 State Highway 26, Tatuanui, Morrinsville.
• Minimum Guaranteed Weekly Hours of Work: 42 Hours
• Days required: This position is based on a rotating 5 day on 3 day off roster. This roster includes weekend and public holiday work. Some overtime may be necessary.
