Packing Operator - Nutritionals - Fixed Term


We are seeking applications for a 12-month fixed-term opportunity within our Nutritionals Packing Team, working a guaranteed minimum of 42 hours per week.

 

Our operation includes three dryers producing a diverse range of products, which are packed across five dedicated packing lines. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where quality, teamwork, and attention to detail are key.

 

As a Packing Operator, you will play a vital role in ensuring product is packed to the highest standards while maintaining strict hygiene, quality, and safety requirements.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Consistently pack products in accordance with required quality, safety, and specification standards
  • Set up and operate a single packing or palletising line (i.e. wrapping, palletising, bar coding, and product movement) to achieve a wide range of packing specifications
  • Effectively clean, change-over and shut down all packing operations within work area
  • Complete appropriate documentation and planning of workload
  • Uphold exemplary standards of personal hygiene and ensure plant hygiene requirements are met
  • Strive to achieve and sustain the highest possible product yield through efficient and careful work practices.

  • Mechanical aptitude or experience working with pneumatic machinery
  • A proactive, positive attitude with the ability to work independently and use initiative
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities with a high level of attention to detail
  • The ability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • The ability to contribute positively and collaboratively within a team
  • A mechanically minded, practical approach to tasks and equipment operation.
