Laboratory Technician - Fixed Term


We’re on the lookout for a talented and passionate Laboratory Technician to join our team at Tatua, working a 5 days on, 3 days off roster. This position is fixed-term, covering a period of parental leave in accordance with the Parental Leave and Employment Protection Act 1987.

 

As a Laboratory Technician at Tatua, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and safety of our premium dairy products.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing routine microbiological and/or chemical analyses
  • Sampling, testing, and checking compliance with specifications
  • Calibrating and maintaining laboratory equipment
  • Following established protocols and procedures.

 

You’ll work closely with a team of skilled professionals dedicated to excellence and precision, making a tangible impact on our product quality and global reputation.

  • A positive and proactive attitude
  • The ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of work
  • Outstanding attention to detail and ability to work accurately with numbers
  • Strong adherence to processes and procedures, with a commitment to quality assurance
  • Good communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team environment
  • Experience in a laboratory setting preferred, ideally within the dairy or food industry.

 

This roles operate on a 5 days on, 3 days off roster. Some overtime may be necessary.
