Laboratory Technician - Fixed-Term

We’re on the lookout for two talented and passionate Laboratory Technicians to join our team at Tatua, working a 5 days on, 3 days off roster until May 2026. These positions are both fixed-term roles, with one position specifically covering a period of parental leave.

As a Laboratory Technician at Tatua, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and safety of our premium dairy products.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing routine microbiological and/or chemical analyses
• Sampling, testing, and checking compliance with specifications
• Calibrating and maintaining laboratory equipment
• Following established protocols and procedures

You’ll work closely with a team of skilled professionals dedicated to excellence and precision, making a tangible impact on our product quality and global reputation.

What we’re Looking For:

• A positive and proactive attitude
• The ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of work
• Outstanding attention to detail and ability to work accurately with numbers
• Strong adherence to processes and procedures, with a commitment to quality assurance
• Good communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team environment
• Experience in a laboratory setting preferred, ideally within the dairy or food industry

These roles operate on a 5 days on, 3 days off roster. Some overtime may be necessary.
