Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) Lead


We are seeking a LIMS Lead with a strategic mindset and a passion for continuous improvement to join our QC Laboratory Team and support our new LabWare LIMS.

 

This dynamic role provides wide-ranging responsibility, including system ownership, technical support, troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and project leadership. As a key system for Tatua, the LIMS Lead will work closely with the Laboratory and stakeholders across the wider business.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Act as the designated system owner and Subject Matter Expert (SME)
  • Provide system governance and maintain robust configuration control
  • Lead the design, build, testing, validation, and deployment of LIMS enhancements and system changes
  • Provide expert-level technical support and serve as the primary contact for LabWare’s support team
  • Develop, maintain, and improve LIMS-based reports to meet operational, quality, compliance, and regulatory requirements
  • Deliver user training and maintain associated training and competency documentation.

 

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • Strong critical thinking and a strategic approach
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience administering or configuring LabWare LIMS or similar systems
  • Proven stakeholder engagement and communication capability
  • A Bachelor of Science, Information Technology, or equivalent (preferred)
  • A commitment to continuous improvement and a positive, proactive attitude.
