Laboratory Grading Technician


We are on the lookout for a talented and passionate Laboratory Technician to join our Product Grading team, working Monday to Friday.  

 

As a Laboratory Grading Technician at Tatua, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and safety of our premium dairy products.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Determining final grade status of products against specifications
  • Creating documentation required for customers and market access requirements.
  • Managing data in our Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
  • Performing routine functional test analyses
  • Co-ordinating sensory test panels
  • Calibrating and maintaining laboratory equipment
  • Following established protocols and procedures.

 

You’ll work closely with a team of skilled professionals dedicated to excellence and precision, making a tangible impact on our product quality and global reputation.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • A positive and proactive attitude
  • A quick learner who can adapt to new systems
  • Outstanding attention to detail and ability to work accurately with numbers
  • Strong adherence to processes and procedures, with a commitment to quality assurance
  • Exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team environment
  • An understanding of lab test results desired
  • Experience managing data in a LIMS preferred

 

Applicants must be able to attend an interview in Morrinsville and have the required documentation to allow them to work in New Zealand.
