IT Support Engineer
We are seeking a talented and highly skilled IT Support Engineer. This is a permanent role with an immediate start but we will wait for the ideal candidate. The IT Support Engineer will be the first point of contact for Tatua’s 500 staff to provide L2 support for all ICT incidents and requests through our service desk, along with assisting our Systems Engineers with the management and enhancement of our infrastructure.

Because of our small team size, our workload is diverse and is a great opportunity to gain a broad range of experience. We don’t run a typical desk-bound service desk; we encourage that you get out and interact with our customers directly, with a more hands-on approach to support.
The ideal candidate for this position will be able to prioritise workload, engage with and relate to our customers, is passionate about providing exceptional customer service, able to follow our processes to resolve issues quickly, and able to deliver quality outcomes against deadlines.

The ideal applicant will have the following experience and knowledge:
- 3+ years’ experience working in a structured ICT service desk or similar customer-facing technical support role
- Experience supporting Microsoft-based corporate environments
- Microsoft 365 qualification
- Experience provisioning and supporting mobile devices running Android and iOS
- Experience with or exposure to business-critical applications and systems such as ERP, preferably from a support role
- Understanding of ITIL framework
- Demonstrated understanding of fundamental networking concepts and technologies
- Experience in either the dairy industry or food manufacturing
The successful applicant will have at least a technology related qualification and 3+ years relevant experience.
