Engineering Stores Co-ordinator

At Tatua, our Site Services team plays a critical role in keeping our manufacturing operation running safely and efficiently. We are looking for an organised, customer-focused Engineering Stores Co-ordinator to join our team.

This is a varied role that combines administration, purchasing, inventory management and hands-on stores coordination. You'll work closely with maintenance teams, project managers, suppliers and other departments across the business to ensure parts, materials and critical equipment are available when needed.

This is not a desk-only position. You'll spend your time split between computer-based administration and practical work within the engineering stores.

In this role, you will:

  • Managing engineering inventory and stock levels
  • Raising and receipting purchase orders through our ERP system
  • Coordinating inwards goods and supplier deliveries
  • Creating and maintaining parts and inventory records
  • Preparing parts kits for preventative maintenance work
  • Supporting maintenance and project teams with parts and materials
  • Liaising with suppliers to obtain quotes and resolve issues
  • Maintaining quality documentation and engineering records
  • Assisting with audits and stores quality processes
  • Managing contractor timesheets and administrative data entry
  • Supporting the management of site safety equipment and certifications

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • Experience in administration, stores, inventory or purchasing environments
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and business systems
  • Great communication and customer service skills
  • Initiative and the ability to manage competing priorities

Experience with ERP, CMMS or inventory management systems would be highly regarded, as would an understanding of engineering or industrial parts and components.
