Engineering Store Data & Inventory Assistant - Fixed Term
Tatua is seeking a highly motivated and organised person to join our Site Services team as an Engineering Store Data & Inventory Assistant, on a 6-month fixed term contract. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in accuracy, and thrives in a busy operational environment.
In this role, you will support the daily operations of our Engineering Parts Store, ensuring inventory accuracy, timely availability of parts, and high‑quality customer service to our internal teams. Working Monday to Friday, you’ll play a key part in enabling our maintenance and engineering teams to keep the site running smoothly.
In this role, you will:
- Inventory management including stocktaking and inwards goods processing
- Data entry of parts and staff working hour
- Providing general support to the Stores Team Leader
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the Engineering Stores
- Customer service - assisting staff to locate and access the parts they need
- Accurate picking and issuing of parts for work orders
- Liaising with suppliers when required to support stock and delivery needs.
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong self‑motivation and initiative
- Good planning and organisational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience in inventory or stores‑related tasks
- Prior experience with a computerised
maintenance management system (CMMS).
