Business Development Manager - Specialty Protein

At Tatua, we’re enabling the next generation of protein ingredient solutions for all specialised nutrition segments. An opportunity has arisen due to an internal promotion, creating a rare chance to step into a high-impact role within our Specialty Protein team.

 

In this role, you will:

As Business Development Manager, you will lead the growth of Tatua’s specialty protein portfolio across key markets including China, Taiwan, and Korea.

Reporting to the Senior Business Manager, this is a commercial and technical role, focused on building strong customer partnerships and delivering protein solutions into specialised nutrition segments. 

  • Drive profitable sales growth across a defined customer portfolio
  • Develop deep, partnership-led relationships with customers
  • Translate customer needs into practical technical and commercial solutions
  • Work closely with R&D, supply chain and manufacturing to deliver outcomes
  • Contribute to new product development aligned to market opportunities

You’ll also support and lead a direct report, with indirect oversight of our ANZ and South Africa markets.

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

You’ll bring a balance of commercial acumen and technical understanding, with experience in B2B customer environments.

  • Strong relationship-building and cross-cultural capability
  • A science, food, or dairy background
  • Experience in technical or commercial sales
  • You’re motivated by growth, comfortable with complexity, and keen to work across global markets.  In market travel will be required periodically.
