Assistant Accountant / Debtors Clerk

This is a great opportunity for a graduate looking to start a career in accounting, but may also suit someone with an interest in accounts, but no formal qualifications.

About the role

Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, your primary focus will be managing Tatua’s debtors. You will also be required to assist the Financial Accountant with the back office treasury function & processing our supplier/shareholder payments.

Accuracy and an eye for detail are imperative qualities together with excellent communication skills.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience in Credit Control/Debtor Management

  • Experience in either the dairy industry or food manufacturing

  • Experience with ERP’s in particular JDEdwards EnterpriseOne

A tertiary qualification is not essential, but the ideal applicant will have advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Tatua is an ATO and can assist with membership requirements for NZICA if desired.
